His last day of wearing the school uniform that looks so cute on him.
Honestly, it seems like yesterday that he was starting kindergarten and was disappointed that he didn't have to wear a school uniform with a tie. I remember I finally let him wear his shirt and tie for picture day.

After going about 1 week past her due date, Lily delivered a healthy, but very tiny black and white doeling. She looks a lot like her older sister Clarabelle.
It was quite a relief for us. During the last days before she kidded, Lily spent her time driving us batty. She woke me up at 2 am crying for water. She got her head stuck in the Motherhenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15261286804877515345noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5617793.post-38146430234653603702013-04-24T12:40:00.000-04:002013-04-24T12:40:22.256-04:00Iced in.

A lovely couple had adopted a calf and raised him as a pet. But recently they have found that he seems lonely and they were looking for a livestock companion for him. It was obvious that they dote on their animals and I think that they are going to love sweet Clarabelle very much. Look at what followed Matt home from the local Zellers store closing sale...
The Zellers restaurant DOUBLE milk machine!
We stopped at Reid`s Dairy and bought two 20L bags of milk. We go through about 4L of milk a day, and Matt has been wanting a milk machine for a while. Now we have learned that it is NOT cheaper to buy milk in 20L bags, it actually ends up costing more.  Motherhenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15261286804877515345noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5617793.post-44935762973962846302013-03-21T11:15:00.002-04:002013-03-21T11:15:36.864-04:00Goodbye Mr. Snowman
Mr. Snowman has been hanging around too long! The first day of spring has come and gone. His frozen olive eyes are creepy and his twig smirk is irritating. Yesterday, the buses were cancelled so the kids stayed home. It snowed and rained all day and night. This morning we awoke to this. Please take me with you!
Daisy is unhappy today.
You see Sampson made his triumphant return arrived today. Daisy likes Sampson, but I think she is having problems with how much her sister Lily likes Sampson. Ahem. Within minutes of his arrival, Lily was flinging herself mercilessly at him. And there is very graphic evidence that he didn't mind the attention one bit (Motherhenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15261286804877515345noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5617793.post-35452716029245623392012-12-17T17:29:00.001-05:002012-12-17T17:29:37.357-05:00WishlistHanna: Mommy, for Christmas, I really want somebody to get me a sweet little baby pig. That way I could love it and hold it, and when it gets big we can eat it.
Me: But wouldn't you love it too much to eat it, you know, after you love it and hold it as a baby?
Hanna: No, because somebody would probably get me a boy, and I do NOT love big boy pigs.
