I realize that I was a very bad blogger this Christmas season. I hope to get back on track now that life is slowly returning to the normal chaotic pace. I usually make it a ritual to get all of the Christmas decor down by the time I go to bed on January 6th. When I reminded the kids that we "undecorate" the Christmas tree, Hanna was in tears. Kira asked me "Please please, can't we keep it up until my birthday?" I was really not feeling up to staying up late, so I relented. The decorations stand today. But trust me, but Monday at noon, they will all be packed tightly in their bins and stacked in the furnace room.
